  • When are you open?

We are open for classes Monday through Saturday, but if you want to speak to someone in the office, call or come by between 9:30 a.m. and noon, or between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Who do I ask for when I have a question about my tuition and fees invoice?

You'd ask for Angie.  If you call between 9:30 - 12:30 she's likely to answer the phone!  If she's not available, then Lisa or Patty may be able to help you, or we'll ask Angie to call you back.

At what age do you start instrumental lessons?

For piano lessons, we like to start our students in first or second grade, when they have been reading for a while, and when their hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and attention span are fairly well developed.  As for violin lessons, some students are ready to start Suzuki violin lessons at age 4 or 5, but most are better off waiting till first or second grade also.  Guitar students are more successful if they start after age 8, because playing the guitar requires quite a bit of finger strength.

    Where are you located?

We are in the middle of Pearland, on FM 518 just west of the railroad tracks, in the building connected to HOPE (Harvest of Praise Exalted) Church.  We share the building with Little Genius Club Learning Center and Tumbling Stars Gymnastics, and our entrance is behind the church.  See the "directions" page of our website for more detailed directions.

How much should I expect to spend on music books?

Our  registration fees cover the Mayron Cole music books for piano and other method books for other instruments.  The registration fee also covers the cost of additional materials, incentive rewards, and recital fees.

    Do you offer family discounts?

Yes, we offer a 10% tuition discount for the second family member enrolled in one of our programs, or if the same student is taking more than one class.

What if I don't like the teacher you assign?

Let us know as soon as possible of ANY concerns, and we'll do our best to remedy the situation immediately.

What if I move during the semester, do I get a refund?

We ask that enrollment in any of our programs be considered a commitment for the entire semester, with the exception of special circumstances such as moving from the area.  If you find out that you will be moving from the area before the semester is over, please give us 30 days notice, and we will refund the remainder of your tuition.
