Sing & Play opened its doors in the Fall of 2000 in the Circle K Shopping Center on 518 in Pearland. We started as a music studio offering Kindermusik classes, group and private piano lessons, and created the Pearland Community Kids' Choir. Within two short years we'd expanded into two spaces in the Circle K Center and began offering private voice, guitar and violin lessons in addition to our other programs.
Our music programs continued to grow, and we decided to expand once again into a complete Fine Arts Studio, adding Drama and Art classes to our curricula. We moved to a 10,000 square foot space on the second floor of the First Christian Academy (now Little Genius Club) Building in Pearland in the fall of 2004. Today Sing & Play is going strong into its tenth year with a full fine arts line-up. We now offer private and group lessons for piano, voice, electric and acoustic guitar, electric bass, strings, percussion, brass and woodwinds.
We also offer Kindermusik, Art, and Drama Classes, and the Sing & Play Showstoppers. New this year are our Martial Arts classes for preschoolers through age 12!
Our studio is unique because it offers something for every member of the family. Busy families are able to enroll several siblings (or parents) in different programs all at the same time, saving time and gas! Our teachers are trained and experienced, and all have a sincere desire to share their love of music and the fine arts.
Our mission at Sing & Play is to provide an excellent one-stop center for families to experience and enjoy music and the arts together.
