Thank you for your interest in the Martial Arts program at Sing & Play. We currently offer a martial arts program that incorporates Tae Kwon Do, Aikido and Jujitsu, and is defense oriented.

 

Class information: In our Martial Arts classes, children learn discipline, focus, good sportsmanship and fitness in a fun and safe environment. Our classes are designed for two age groups: preschool (ages 3-5) and school-age (ages 5-12).

 

Instructor: Anthony Tupper of Tupper Martial Arts is a Third Degree Black Belt, and has been a student of Martial Arts since childhood. He founded Tupper Martial Arts in 2007.

 

Calendar: Each Martial Arts unit consists of sixteen classes per semester. We generally follow the Pearland public school calendar with no classes during the Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, Easter or any other school holidays. Specialty camps and are offered during the summer.

 

Tuition and fees: A $40.00 registration fee is due upon enrollment each semester. This required fee covers the cost of the uniforms and belts.  Tuition is $164.00 per semester, which may be paid in full by check or credit card, or paid in four monthly installments of $41.00 each semester. If paid in installments, we must receive four checks postdated for Sept. 1, Oct. 1, Nov. 1, and Dec. 1 for the fall semester, and Jan. 1, Feb. 1, Mar. 1, and Apr. 1 for the spring semester.   

 

Parents are welcome to attend their children’s classes and encouraged to see their children’s belt ranks tests. Feedback from parents is welcome, and parent participation is always welcome as well. Your child will adjust more quickly and enjoy class more if you are consistent with class attendance, and follow up on the activities at home. We ask that you consider enrollment in Martial Arts a commitment for the entire semester.
